Due to the numerous successful applications on Continuous Miner and Shearer cutting drums we have developed an all hydraulic ejection system for road milling tooling the design of which is based around our patented mining "Blocksaver” system that has been proven in an underground environment and has been in use for the past 12 years in over 300 underground installations.
As can be seen by watching the attached video both the bit and the sleeve can be readily hydraulically ejected by attaching a hydraulic feed to the block.
