Minnovation have been designing and manufacturing Blocks & Sleeves for the mining & tunnelling industry for the last 25 years. Working in close co-operation with British Coal Research Establishment numerous blocks, incorporating built-in sprays, for both shearers, heading machines and continuous miners were developed and manufactured in-house. Minnovation successfully developed and patented the "Blocksaver” tooling system which is a method of hydraulically extracting press fit sleeves from the block where the stepped sleeve acts as its own hydraulic cylinder.
